The Brief
Lúnasa Lodge came to us with a dated template site that didn't reflect the calm, considered experience of staying there — and worse, guests kept abandoning the booking flow halfway through. They needed a site that felt as restorative as the lodge itself, with a booking journey simple enough to finish on a phone in bed.
The Process
We started with a content audit and a short on-site shoot to capture the lodge in its best light, then mapped the booking journey end-to-end before touching any visual design. The new layout leans on generous whitespace, a warm neutral palette and a single clear path from 'check availability' to 'confirmed' — with calendar availability and room details surfaced early, not buried three clicks deep.
The Outcome
Within a month of launch, direct bookings were up nineteen percent and average time-to-book dropped by almost half. The lodge's owners now update seasonal offers themselves through a simple CMS we set up as part of the handover.
